CETRI has participated in EU-funded projects comprising inkjet material deposition. IPISA will be implemented using the Aurel XCEL station.

Work Plan &

Market Strategy

IPISA specialists are working on the optimization of the sensing scheme technology. The aim is that the device will be commercialized while an holistic innovation strategy for market penetration of the sensor will be formulated.

Inkjet Printed Sensor Arrays for high efficient, low-cost, environmental monitoring

Gas detection is nowadays accounted essential from many aspects. Air pollution monitoring, public security and safety, labour and even household safety are of high importance and should be kept under control in order to predict and prevent any disastrous and fatal incidents. On the other hand, the demanding rythms of modern life in combination with an overgrown competitive market brings about the need of design of advanced materials and systems that merge simplicity, direct applicability, accessibility and, anyhow, great efficacy.

About us

The Centre for Technology Research & Innovation (CETRI) is a private Research & Innovation SME. Its mission is to optimally address global market challenges through cutting-edge Research & Innovation activities, beyond state-of-the-art tech solutions. CETRI conducts research but also offers consulting services to public and private institutions.

IPISA project aims at exploiting an ultra-versatile sensing scheme based on the development of high performance, low-cost, printed sensor array technology in order to fulfill the ever growing need for environmental monitoring. IPISA will combine three different worlds in an advanced gas-detection system.
